Table basics

Read the Table Before the First Chaal

Teen Patti is easier to follow when the table terms are clear. Check the labels before the hand begins.

Boot

Starting table amount

The boot is the starting amount placed before a hand. Check it first because it affects the pace and table size.

Blind

Playing without seeing cards

A blind player has not viewed the hand. Online tables may price blind and seen moves differently, so read the table rule.

Seen

Playing after viewing cards

A seen player has checked the hand. Do not assume every table uses the same cost or turn rule after cards are viewed.

Chaal

Continuing in the hand

Chaal keeps the player in the hand. If the round feels too quick to understand, wait for another table.

Pack

Leaving the current hand

Pack means leaving the hand. A clear pack option is part of a readable table screen.

Show

Comparing hands

Show reveals or compares hands according to table rules. Read when show is allowed and how ties are handled.

Side show

Check before using it

Some tables allow a side show between eligible players. The button may appear only under certain conditions, so rely on the visible rule text rather than memory from another table.
